Lenny (L.K.) Mata Cuevas is a Dominican-American photojournalist, writer, and researcher. Her work explores culture within and outside the United States. Engaged with social issues affecting women and the immigrant diaspora. She is also interested in travel journalism and visual storytelling. Her work has been exposed at the James Howe Gallery, at Kean University –Art during the COVID exhibition–. Published on Mazza’s Recycling Services Instagram, and non-profit organization, Soulphamm. Most recently published by George Washington University newspaper’s The Hatchet. My work was also featured on The Tower (the students’ newspaper at Kean University), and the cover of The Foreign Student Voice (Union College Magazine)
